This week has been very busy for me work wise. We had a bit of a heat wave with temperatures above the norm for September. We broke records that were 60 years old. Not complaining but I was working out side on a deck with no shade.
The heat, I thought, was the reason for feeling extremely tired at the end of the day but it appears that the family has been hit with the flu. First my son now I am feeling the affects.
Did not get any workouts in but ate fairly good. Still at a maintenance level intake. My leg has been feeling better but I did miss a few of the stretching sessions I had planned for.
I gained a kg! Finally my eating patterns can get back to normal - but need to still start exercising. Heat waves are worse than cold fronts! It must have been pretty bad Rob. I am re-adjusting to not fasting and since I haven't worked out in a while - I wonder if I must start with the exercises in the body fat solution again? Beginner phase AGAIN! Ugh..
Hi Azeeza, We broke a 57 year record today for high temperature. 33 C is rare even for the summer here but not complaining too much as it will be going to minus 30 in a few months when winter arrives.
If you are starting to workout again I would start with the 2nd phase but use lighter weights to begin with then increase as you and your muscles feel comfortable. I hate the dread sore muscles in the beginning after not working out for a while.
