Hi all, A little better for me this week. Hit most of my goals. Logged my food everyday except Saturday when we went out to a friend's house and I lost track of all nachos, chocolate and wine! Worked out five days of seven (and one of those days ...

Hi Rob, Glad to hear the pain is easing up a little. My motivation wasn't great this week, but my baby-steps goals at least got me off the starting block. I logged all my meals, however awful, on Fit Day. Over the week, my average intake was 201...

Back to basics for everyone then. Azeeza - let me remind you - it feels GOOOOOOD. Seriously. Back on the straight and mostly narrow for an impressive two days now, but I have to say, it feels much better, more right, than what I have been doing fo...

Hi guys, I'm BACK!!!! Sheesh, I go away on a little holiday and the whole place goes to pot. LOL. I'm afraid it is not the masters that has kept me away - it is, like Tim, a compliance issue. I left my compliance in NYC, and have yet to get it b...

Hi Angie

It's great to catch up with you, I did skype you but it probably got lost out there somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm looking forward to joining the challenge on Tuesday, perfect timing as I need to get back into things again.

The wedding was fantastic and everything went brilliantly. It's so lovely seeing my daughters and knowing that they are happy and with such gorgeous and kind men. How lucky am I :)

I am looking for accountability - ie someone to check in with - hoping that knowing I have to confess or report & just be honest about what I am doing will help me to tow the line. I am following a food group diet with approx 1500 calories. I worked out 3x a week last week. I am on a plan to run 30 mins straight (jog really) in 10 weeks. I am on week 7. I plan on incorporating some upper body work and a little aerobic activity on non jog days. Also taking a summer course - Economics - really confusing for me. I also have 2 daughters 6 & 8 which are home for the summer and I work evenings from 6-10PM/20 hours a week.

Hi Ang,

Sure, meeting in London would be cool if we can work it out. The workshop is Friday 21 – Sunday 23 August 2009, morning to evening. Not so good for a weekend visit. Actually, Friday is short, 6:00 to 9:30 pm but that isn't much help. Let's see how things look as the time gets closer. I haven't got my tickets yet and haven't decided whether to come early or stay after or both. We'll see! I have a friend in London to visit for at least a day.

In any case thanks for the October stay offer! I just might take you up on it. The workshop I'm attending is not far from the airport. Where about do you live?

It's so hot here I'm melted into a puddle of stupidity. Just enough memory to ask you how your first few days went at the new job?

Hi Angie,
Not half way to my total goal, half way to my one year goal which is how I prefer to look at it rather than 6 months behind schedule!
Great going on the 19 pounds. I wish you'd take and post a new photo!
Mazal tov on the job. When last we talked it was not yet confirmed. May you love, love, love it!
No sense in the trainer, lol. Yes, on the trip in October. Also London in August if I can manage it for a workshop I've wanted to take for a couple of years from an EFT expert from Australia. The gym is closed right now while they totally redo the air conditioner system. I've been working out by gardening instead. Sort of shovelglove with the gloves on my hands.

Hi there,
decided I should be logging again, have started to clean up my diet and do some structured exercise. Must admit I stayed away from this forum as I kept getting dodgy messages from 'sexy girls want to meet u' stuff.
glad to see youre going well

not yet, but I've been thinking about it. I'll be interested to see if you find it shoots your progress into the stratosphere! I'll watch how you go and maybe I will do one. My concern is that there is an end to a challenge and after it might be v.hard to maintain. I'm after a sustainable, healthy lifestyle; I've spent years yo-yo dieting and at long last have been able to maintain the same dress size for about 8years (even if it is a little bigger than I'd like, at least it's stable!) thanks to exercise. What eating plan will you follow with the TT transformation?

This month I'm using the TT 10minute workouts followed by 15min cardio intervals 3X per week, plus 1 pilates class, 1hr dragon boating and when I can a Les Mills Bodybalance class. Also I walk quite a lot; so it's a well rounded program. I was doing TT 2008, but can't fit in a full workout in my lunch break; will get back to full length weight training asap! I also like CB's bodyweight exercises (especially when your body is a significant weight!!!).

Weights and intervals on the same day?

Has anybody tried doing the resistance workout and the intervals on the same day? I just gave it a go, with a 10 minute or so break after my weights before I started my intervals. Don't think I'll be doing it again. I was just too tired and couldn't work out as hard as I would normally. Back to alternate days I think.

Although if I get up early (unlikely, but you never know), I might try doing my intervals in the morning before work and my weights in the evening. Will let you know how I get on.

Three times a charm

I'm just coming to the end of my first week on the BFS exercise programme and today was Workout A, again. The first workout (A) is tough because it's such a shock to the system. The second workout (B) is tougher because you're still sore from workout A. But the third workout, when you're sore AND you know what's coming - getting myself psyched up for this was quite a bit tougher!

And yes, it was hard, but in a way it was easier than the first time, I suppose it seemed to flow more smoothly beca… Continue
