Weights and intervals on the same day?

Has anybody tried doing the resistance workout and the intervals on the same day? I just gave it a go, with a 10 minute or so break after my weights before I started my intervals. Don't think I'll be doing it again. I was just too tired and couldn't work out as hard as I would normally. Back to alternate days I think.

Although if I get up early (unlikely, but you never know), I might try doing my intervals in the morning before work and my weights in the evening. Will let you know how I get on.

I find it funny after reading the book and seeing some of the people in my gym. They are doing the same exercises constantly and never seeing any progress.

I've got the book. Got a few good tips out of it. May try their programme next.

The best thing about the TT work out is the less time spent in the gym. I haven't reached the BFS workouts in the book yet. I plan to review. I also have the "New Rules for Lifting" for Men by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove. The book is excellent and goes into depth why you need to do six basic moves. They put out a book for women as well. Check it out.

I love TT! Yes, I used to do TT too and it kicked my ass! The workouts in BFS are very TT-like - I had to check to see if CB had written them but it was Alwyn Cosgrove. Although the workouts are similar, there is an extra exercise (w/o A) or superset (w/o B), with the BFS w/o, so it takes me 35 to 40 mins to complete my weights. TT used to take me 20 to 25 mins, and I would often do my intervals after. Maybe it's the longer duration, or maybe I've just been a bit off this week - I only did it the once, but I know I didn't enjoy it.

I do interval training right after the days work out. I am following the Turbulence Training plan. My work outs are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I do the interval after an abs workout.
