The wedding was fantastic and everything went brilliantly. It's so lovely seeing my daughters and knowing that they are happy and with such gorgeous and kind men. How lucky am I :)
I am looking for accountability - ie someone to check in with - hoping that knowing I have to confess or report & just be honest about what I am doing will help me to tow the line. I am following a food group diet with approx 1500 calories. I worked out 3x a week last week. I am on a plan to run 30 mins straight (jog really) in 10 weeks. I am on week 7. I plan on incorporating some upper body work and a little aerobic activity on non jog days. Also taking a summer course - Economics - really confusing for me. I also have 2 daughters 6 & 8 which are home for the summer and I work evenings from 6-10PM/20 hours a week.
Sure, meeting in London would be cool if we can work it out. The workshop is Friday 21 – Sunday 23 August 2009, morning to evening. Not so good for a weekend visit. Actually, Friday is short, 6:00 to 9:30 pm but that isn't much help. Let's see how things look as the time gets closer. I haven't got my tickets yet and haven't decided whether to come early or stay after or both. We'll see! I have a friend in London to visit for at least a day.
In any case thanks for the October stay offer! I just might take you up on it. The workshop I'm attending is not far from the airport. Where about do you live?

No sense in the trainer, lol. Yes, on the trip in October. Also London in August if I can manage it for a workshop I've wanted to take for a couple of years from an EFT expert from Australia. The gym is closed right now while they totally redo the air conditioner system. I've been working out by gardening instead. Sort of shovelglove with the gloves on my hands.

not yet, but I've been thinking about it. I'll be interested to see if you find it shoots your progress into the stratosphere! I'll watch how you go and maybe I will do one. My concern is that there is an end to a challenge and after it might be v.hard to maintain. I'm after a sustainable, healthy lifestyle; I've spent years yo-yo dieting and at long last have been able to maintain the same dress size for about 8years (even if it is a little bigger than I'd like, at least it's stable!) thanks to exercise. What eating plan will you follow with the TT transformation?
This month I'm using the TT 10minute workouts followed by 15min cardio intervals 3X per week, plus 1 pilates class, 1hr dragon boating and when I can a Les Mills Bodybalance class. Also I walk quite a lot; so it's a well rounded program. I was doing TT 2008, but can't fit in a full workout in my lunch break; will get back to full length weight training asap! I also like CB's bodyweight exercises (especially when your body is a significant weight!!!).
Wow, thanks for the compliment! I can safely say that my secret to great skin is what i call the "3 S's". No Smoking, No Sun, and No sugar! I also use only coconut oil on my face as a moisturizer. No products, no botox, no surgery, nothing. The brand i use is Nutiva and i just rub in like regular moisturizer. It's amazing. I also use it in my hair. Hair is now down to the small of my back! Don't tell anyone but i will be 54 in August! Looking forward to the wedding!

Hopefully they will realize nobody wants to talk to them and they crawl back into the hole from whence they came lol lol. I'm doing ok. Just busy with daughter's wedding next week. Well, I read BFFM and got lots of inspiration, then bought BFS which I think it more suited to me. I'm here for some accountability, I do fine for a while, then think its OK to slack off a bit and before I know it I've slid backwards. It's 2 steps forward and 1 back most of the time. I like the motivation and mental aspects 'cause I think that is my problem. After all, I know what to eat, how often and how to exercise! By the way, I'm using Craig Ballantyne's "Turbulence Training" and there's enough there to keep me going for years.
I don't know where everybody has gone. Maybe it is the usual frustration setting in because they are not getting the result they thought they could.
The hardest part of the losing weight game is understanding that there is no magic solution. It all takes time. There will be success along with failures. Hey that is life.
Hello Angie,Thanks for checking in on me. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Been seeing the doc and trying to get physical therapy going. Have gotten the ok to start working out again, but must modify when it comes to the knee. I really want to get back into it, have put on about 12 lbs. since I've been down. Now it's time to get back to work and get this weight off. Sitting down today to refigure my calorie intake and menus. Hope all is well on your end, and have a wonderful day. Larry
Tristan is finally feeling better, but still teething. We're concerned that he's having small internal seizures and have been jumping thru medical hoops to get him set up for an appointment with a neurologist. Unfortunately, that's been my main exercise lately. I notice that I'm eating smaller portions and doing better about stopping eating when I'm full rather than stuffed. My sister's infant twins have also been unwell (acid reflux- can be a major prob for infants) so I've been helping there too.
Hope to do better this week ;)
